How terrorism impacts the world

On September 11th, 2001, terrorists attacked the United States. They crashed airplanes into buildings and killed over 3,000 people in one morning. That horrible day has had a lasting impact on the world and its inhabitants for many reasons.

Some of these include:

  • It led to an increase in security measures at airports and other public places;
  • It led to increased suspicion of Muslims or Middle Easterners; and so much more.

The impacts of terrorism are vast and can be seen everywhere from politics to commerce – but they don’t just exist today because we all know that there will always be something new happening around the world.

Terrorism is a form of violence that has been around for centuries, but it has only recently become an issue in the world. The attacks on September 11th, 2001 are one of the most infamous examples of terrorism. These attacks destroyed two towers and killed thousands of people before the attackers were eventually captured by U.S forces. While this was not the first attack to happen on American soil, it was certainly one of the most deadly ones to date. This event impacted many aspects of life across America and even changed how people viewed their own safety.

The effects have not just been felt within American borders either; countries all over the globe have had to deal with terrorist threats as well including France, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq among others
